What is a Human?
A Human is a living being which is composed of a physical body and a soul bound by the Chain of Fate to the body. Humans are rarely aware of their true surroundings and go about their daily lives ignorant of the threat that Hollows and Shinigami pose to them, commonly attributing their attacks to natural disasters or the like. They are at risk in all stages of their life, in life they can be attacked or destroyed accidentally or on purpose or be exposed to a large of amount of spiritual energy which can have peculiar effects. Humans are commonly considered to be the lesser species by most others, Hollows consider them food and Shinigami consider them inferior.

Formation of a Spiritual Human
Some humans, either by birth, training, experience, of Reiatsu exposure, gain their own enhanced spiritual awareness that allows them to view and interact with spirits. This comes in various stages, first being able to 'sense' the presence of spiritual beings, then being able to see blurred outlines of them or small traces (scent, footsteps, movement, etc.), being able to clearly see spiritual beings, and then finally being able to not only see them but also being able to physical affect them easily with enhanced powers.

A normal Human being can become spiritual aware by having their souls forced out of their bodies by a Shinigami and Hollow, more or less forcing them to draw on their Reiatsu and become aware of it, even after they are put back into their human bodies. They will then slowly begin to become enhanced humans as their soul increases in awareness after being startled awake by being forced out of the body. The second method is simply being around a being exerting Reiatsu, this can drain into the Human soul and cause them to develop their own abilities, hence why Shinigami try to avoid fighting in crowded areas or near humans.


Reiryoku Development
As a Human becomes more and more spiritual aware and increases their Reiryoku, they become better able to view and interact with spiritual beings, eventually this will result in the development of unique abilities in the human from their spiritual energy. The development can be sped up by training, meditation, or further exposure to strong spiritual pressures, but otherwise these abilities develop naturally over-time without any additional effort from the individual human. These powers can be accessed both in their physical body and in their spiritual form, making them highly versatile as well as allowing them to continue normal human life while having these unique powers.

Human Abilities
Gaining abilities more or less happens in an instant of need, when the individual comes under enough stress that requires them to combat or deal with a spiritual opponent that forces their bodies to release their latent Reiryoku, forming their unique powers. Like most spirits, these abilities tend to come to their user like second-nature, they are much more ingrained than even a Shinigami's Zanpakuto so using them requires almost no training once achieved. There are some cases, however, in which a container-like ability is formed that divides the Human's powers, in which case this division requires instruction, time, and energy to learn how to master since it is not infused in the user. Either way, upon manifestation, the ability is already known or it is explained to the user in some fashion and they become able to use it afterwards, at will.

Human abilities are incredibly versatile and can take forms that no other spiritual beings powers can manifest into, making it very difficult to know about what kind of powers a human has without knowing the individual. These Human special abilities are called Fullbring. Additionally, though these abilities are limited in that they typically serve only a few functions, they are usually very good at those, making them able to stand on even footing with other spiritual beings even if their abilities may seem 'narrow'. Human abilities also have a potential for evolution into stronger forms, similar to other spiritual beings abilities, so that they also have the ability to grow in their abilities.

Travel Capabilities
Traveling normally within the living world is considered quick and free, however their are restrictions on reaching other planes of existence.

Traveling to Soul Society requires you to at least be a level 20+ and have the authorization of a member of Yobunha and an Officer Class Shinigami or higher. It takes 4 hours(real Time) in order for the proper Senkaimon to be prepared that is safe for a human to use. Traveling to Hueco Mundo requires you to be level 30+, 8 hours(real time) in which a Garganta safe for non-hollows to travel through is created as well as authorization the authorizations of a leader member of Yobunha, but is not recommended unless absolutely necessary to the dangers posed.

Human
This is the most common tier in Human development, and also the most populated. Humans at this stage have virtually zero spiritual abilities, and even if they develop some means of Reiryoku development, it’s pitiful at best and are almost completely useless in battle and would only prove to be a liability. Though, Humans at this stage are also in room for development, where as they actually begin manifesting their Reiryoku, they can craft it to their heart’s desire.

Awakened Human
This is the second stage, and one of the most common tier in Human development as far as coming into contact with Humans who have begun to develop reiryoku. These Humans are more commonly known as “High-Spec” Humans, and are able to come in contact with reishi-constructed objects such as Souls, to some varying degrees. This is also when their powers slowly begin manifesting. Though it is obviously not to a great extent, it is still enough to aid them somewhat should they be in some small danger.

Empowered Human
The next step in Human development, where in even rarer cases this Human will develop actual powers that could aid them in the midst of battle. They are not as powerful as other Hollow and Shinigami as of yet, but they are able to hold their own. This development of powers usually manifests as these Humans come in contact or are intervened by Shinigami or other spiritual beings. They are even able to interact with Souls without having their own bodies in danger.

Spiritual Human
One of the rarer cases of Human evolution in which their powers now rival that of a lieutenant level Shinigami. They can hold their own with relative ease and could even pose a threat to Hollow that attempt to endanger them. Their contact with reishi-constructed beings are now as regular as if they were interacting with a very Human themselves. Their very spiritual pressure could pose a threat to enemies should they be in danger or in the midst of battle.

Sage
The most powerful, rarest, and last stage of Human development. Their powers rival that of even Captains and could post a threat to organizations even the like of the Soul Society. Their spiritual pressure is vast, and their powers are crafted to the highest of their abilities. Dangers such as Hollow invasions are nothing more than light work for them, and their strength is second to none. Actually being able to reach this final stage of development is a feat in itself, and it requires dedication and some of the most arduous training ever conceived.
